Children with special needs often require multi-disciplinary services and cares.  It is a challenging task for parents/caregivers to carry out all the recommendations listed by teachers, therapists, and doctors.  In many situations, families have difficulties finding primary care pediatricians who understand the complicities.  

During my residency training at Winthrop University Hospital, Mineola New York, I learned about children with special needs.  I also realized the shortage of developmental pediatricians in the US.  After graduated from residency in 2005 I came to Cincinnati, and completed my subspecialty training in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatric Medicine at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in 2008. 

Hoping to provide care for a wide variety of children, I decided to be a primary care pediatrician in the community.   If needed, I can provide services including, consultation for developmental & behavioral problems, counseling, medication management, and self-hypnosis (relaxation training).  Families with children of international and/or domestic adoptions are welcome also, as I am fluent bilingually in both Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and English.
